Self Driving Car

Over the course of a semester I worked on a team of graduate students to program an RC car. The goal of the project was to program the car to drive around a small city while staying on the road, recognize various signs, and obey all traffic operators including traffic lights and railroad crossings. We used PID control to keep the car on the road, and trained a network using YOLO for sign and traffic light detection. The video is a demonstration of our controller and sign detection.
